  • Hold Windows Key and press R.
  • Write "Printmanagement.msc" and then click on Ok.
  • Now on the left side, search for "Print Servers"
  • Click your PC's name and expand it.
  • Click on Printers.
  • Now, right-click on Microsoft XPS document writer and Delete it.
  • Return to the print management window and then perform right-click and select "Add printer".
  • Select Create a new port and then add a new
  • From drop-down feature, select "Local Port".
  • Now, name port "XPS".
  • Select "Install a new driver".
  • Now, navigate to the directory where we have saved the driver, select the file "prnms001".
  • Click on Open.
  • Click on Next and the Printer will be activated.
